Breathe


How are you today?

I'm glad if you answer it with, "ah, i'm okay" or "i'm good"

but, i know,

you aren't.

Just a few days ago when we have happy conversations, talked about so much things, laughed for silly moments, and then

i accidentally talked about something that i didn't know before that was a thing that makes you sad.

I really apologize about it.

I don't know what's the things that makes you sad. I want to ask you about that but i think it would be better if you tell me first. I don't want you feel bothered because of me.

Or maybe, sorry if you think i can't. I'm sorry i'm not good enough as friend. I'm sorry i can't be a good listener.

I feel so bad because i can't be there when you in your downs. 

Once again, i want to say sorry. I really am.




Breathe in deeply until both sides of your chest get numb, 
Exhale more, until they start to hurt a little 
Until you feel like there’s nothing left inside of you 

It’s okay if your breath gets short 
No one is blaming you 
You can make mistakes from time to time 
Everyone else does too 

If I tell you it’s alright 
I know that it’s only words 
When someone sighs 
How can I understand Such deep breaths your sigh 

Even though I won’t be able to understand its depth, 
that’s okay 
I will embrace you 

Even though your sigh may seem cheerless to others 
I know that 
Your day was so difficult that it was hard for you to let out even a small sigh 

Don’t think about anything else 
Breathe in deeply and exhale just as you are
